On my Optimus V, when I received a notification, the notification tone played only once when the notification was first received. On the F3, the notification sound plays repeatedly every minute or so until I clear notifications on the phone. I keep thinking I'm getting a new notification each time the notification tone plays. It's very confusing.
I'd rather it just play the sound once for each notification. Or if it is going to repeatedly play the sound for a single notification, then at least it should give you some control over how frequently the sound plays... once every 30 or 60 minutes might make sense as a reminder, but the way it works now is just stupid.
