Help Notification Sound...?

Hi all,

I received my Galaxy Nexus yesterday and I don't seem to be getting any notification sounds.

I have gone into a couple of applications (Gmail, Twitter etc.) and the notification sound is set to Default (the default sound set up for notifications is 'Ceti Alpha') but nothing plays when i receive anything...The light pulses at the bottom but thats all.

Is this a problem with the Nexus or is it a bug in ICS?

Have you looked at Settings > Sound > Volumes?

All fine with mine, so doubt it's a 'bug' as such. Does it ring for calls, or play media? If it's not set to silent :/ then I guess it could be a duff unit.
