Help Notification Sounds

So off late I've been encountering an issue with notification sounds. Nothing specific seems to bring this behavior about. Sometimes it presents itself after a text message has been received or sometimes it's after a call.

Basically, after some random event, the notification sounds and audio in general just stop working. It is usually solved with a restart.

I'm running stock with ADW EX as the only other major addition.

Definitely seems like something software related.

Has anyone encountered similar issues?

I have not experienced this issue, but it does sound like it is a software issue. Have you tried a factory reset yet?

Yes, I have. Unfortunately it just pops up out of nowhere. It doesn't occur instantaneously after a certain application is 'installed' or 'accessed'. (At least not something that I have observed)

It's been ok for the last couple of days though.
 
This has happened to me as well. At first I thought it was me, but then realized the phone didn't even vibrate when a call came in. Powered off follies by a battery pull gets it working again, but it kinda sucks. My cell is the only way to contact me during the day, and with a child in school, I need to know I'll get the call if she needs me.
