Is there any way to hear notification sounds over bluetooth headset? ( i.e. new text message sound)

Sorry If this has Been asked

thanks

My notification sounds and alarms have been playing through my car speakers while I had my phone Bluetoothed to my radio playing Pandora.

An afternoon alarm I have set began ringing and it took me a minute to realize it wasn't part of the song that was playing.
