Is it possible to remove the notification/status bar? I'd quite like to reclaim that loss of screen space.
I'm hoping it's something we can perhaps make transparent at least.
The only way I have found is either with a custom ROM, notably CyanogenMod7, or by installing LauncherPro which has the facility to disable the Notification bar in Homescreen and App drawer.
