Help Notification Tone - Captivate

Hi, does anybody know how to set a custom tone for my notifications? It will only let me choose a stock tone. Thanks!

You'd have to individually set a tone for a person if you wanted to do that. Otherwise, you have to choose stock tones.

How do I do that? It doesn't seem to be letting me change anything...I think I am, but it's still playing stock sounds.

Are they in the right sub-directory?

When I add a .wav (for example) to the /audio/notifications sub-directory, it becomes available when I go to choose a notification sound.

BTW... same thing with ring tones. They need to be in the audio/ringtones sub-directory if you want to choose individual ringtones for each contact.

I didn't have them in an mp3 format...moved to the notifications directory and it worked. Thanks!!!
