Help Notifications bar wont open

The bar down in the corner wont open anymore. I click there and its like the screen is disabled. If I restart the tablet it works for a while. Is there another way to open it besides touching?

Are you sure you don't have a dead spot in that particular corner? Do you have the same problem when you change the screen orientation?
