Help Notifications for Facebook & Twitter.

[ksnwireless]

I'm not receiving either the notification on the upper left of the screen, or the ringtone. Notifications and the ringtones are setup properly, as I know. The only time I see that there's an update, is when that application is actually opened. This unit is set to update at the minimum. Thank you.

I uninstalled the applications, and then reinstalled them. I now get my Twitter notifications; however, not the Facebook. Do I have to keep the applications running, to positively receive notification?

Facebook notifications don't really work like you'd think on Android. You only get notified of new friend requests and new messages in your inbox and only at the interval set for the check period. You wont get notifications for replies to posts or anything like that. It kind of sucks.

Coming from a BlackBerry, yes, it sucks.
