Notifications in landscape

[StratosWRC]

Sometimes I can read my notifications in landscape and other times it stays in portrait. Can anyone suggest why this happens or confirm that landscape should work when phone is rotated.

The phone can only go in landscape when the app in the foreground supports it. Some apps like HTC Sense don't support landscape (beats me why..), so when you pull down the notifications in such an app, it will stay in portrait.

The app is rain alarm, sometimes it will go into landscape so I can read all of the notification and other times not.

I don't know 'Rain Alarm', but the problem is clearly linked to it, your phone is most certainly OK.
