Help notifications interupting music

Is there a way to stop notifications from interupting music? Every time I get one my music stops

I use the stock player and it just momentarily interrupts my tune when I receive a notification. It doesn't stop my player.. just gives me a heads up that I have something pending. Perhaps it is your rom or the player you are using.

That is what it is supposed to do. You could turn off ALL notifications and it may help but you will also not know when you get a message.

It should also pause the music when you get a call then resume when you hang up.

If it is stopping the player and not restarting then that is a different problem and could be player related.
