Help Notifications Mute

My notifications sound (only) has been switched off. Normal profile is "on" but the notifications volume symbol is crossed out on the volume screen and I'm not getting any notifications for text messages and mails. It vibrates only. However, Ringtone, media etc is all fine

Is there anything specific that's causing this strange issue?

If you go under Settings / Sounds / Volumes and uncheck Use ringtone volume for notifications, you can independently set the notification volume. That should fix you up.
