Help Notifications on Jelly Bean

Hey guys, I'm really sorry if this has been answered, but I've been searching and can't find anything about it.

I upgraded my stock Verizon GNex to Jelly Bean a couple weekends ago, and I'm having some issues. I'm getting no notifications other than my text messages. I've missed a few important emails because of this, and I'm not too happy about it. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, cleared data etc. and nothing is working. The other problem that I've been having lately is that when it loses service it won't find it again until I put it in Airplane Mode, then take it out of it. I've left it searching for about an hour at one point, and nothing. Hopefully I'm the only one who is having these problems and I can just get a new phone from Verizon, but I wanted to check with others before I went to them.

Sounds like you may need to try a factory reset.

I was having similar issues. I reinstalled the apps I wasn't getting notifications from and all is well now. Give it a shot.

I'm not stock or OTA update but before you do a factory reset (as Trophy recommended), have you ensured all your accounts are properly synced? I'm not positive what radios you are on, but when I flashed the leaked ones a month or so ago, I'm getting a stronger signal and better hand-off between 3G and 4G.
I would try the reset before heading into Verizon.
