I know you can set a ringtone for each contact, and set a different notification for text msgs, emails but can you set a different notification tone for each contact. (multipal tones for each contact; phone, text)

You can assign different ringtones easily, just go to People, pick the one you want and look at their menu, it gives the option to change their ringtone. As far as sms tones, you'll have to use a 3rd party sms app, such as Handcent or Chomp to do that, but you can't have a different tone for mms or email as far as I know.

Ya....Handcent will let you assign a separate tone to individual contacts for sms. Use that
