I heard it was nice so I'm considering installing it. I have a couple of questions.

1. Does my bootloader need to be unlocked for me to install NovaLauncher?

2. What does unlocking the bootloader do?

3. Does it void my warranty?

3. Nova Launcher; no. Unlocking; yes.

you don't need to unlock anything to use a launcher. It's essentially just an app

Yep, I am running Nova Launcher and I'm not rooted or unlocked. I LOVE it.
