Root November 8 DINC Update

Droid Incredible maintenance update reportedly starting Nov. 8 | Android Central

Has there been any information leaked about this update other than what Android Central has posted? Also, if our phones are set to S-OFF, can we restore to stock, get the update, and re-root, or is it too early to tell?

good find, there was a leak of this I think that is the same I bet, but I would just stay rooted, and wait for a dev to incorporate into their ROM.
but to answer the question yes, you could get back to stock with s-off accept the update and be okay to re-root.

The latest HTC firmware was already posted to XDA; wouldn't shock me if ROM dev's are already cooking in the new stuff to their upcoming releases.

Where on XDA is this posted? Is there a link similar to the 2.2 RUU? Just wondering if I need to load a stock image to get this update and then reload ClockworkMod Recovery Image after the fact to get root back.

I'm still new to root so any help would be appreciated. I have a rooted Incredible using unrevoked with s-off. I'm still running the stock ROM, so will I get prompted for the update? If I do get prompted, should I accept the update or will it brick my phone? Ideally I would like to get this update without having to wipe my phone. Thanks for the help.
