Got a samsung note2 for xmas,but I'ma phone/tablet novice.

When I try tosend anattaachmentwith a message I get " no network connection, mobile data is disabled"
Yet the plain message works without an attachement.
Help please?

Do you have 3g/4g/wifi on when your sending an mms message? Due to mms picture message requires an active data connection to send.

yes,I have wifi at home it is on all the time,skygo and all internet services working ,strange that messageswithout attachments go thorough ok.
I'manoviceand wondered if Ihavealteredasetting or something,, it wasworking ok afew daysago.Thanksforyour help!

One thing you could try, go into settings, apps, all apps and search for messaging or something similar to that, then click clear data.

Not sure if that'll help but it's worth a shot
