Help O M G . frustrated . phone wont boot after update ! keeps vibrating !

i was browsing some zelda notification tones last night on fun for mobile.. downloaded the actual app on to my phone... ( ive downloaded it before no problem ) ... well this morning .. it told me my phone needed to update .. i updated it.. it turned off as it normally would... & its been stuck on the boost mobile screen ... it vibrates back to back ... beep beepbeep (in a vibrating sound) u get the point. im soooo effin frustrated. help me please.. idk what to do.. im short on cash & i really afford another phone...
fyi ive already reset to factory settings & cleared all the data & reboot again.. nothing happens.

Can you get phone into download mode?

Are you rooted?

Clockworkmod installed? Backup of ej06?

I could. Be wrong..but if the phone powers.on (samsung screen)...then you should be able to get into download mode..if you can get into downlad mode you should be able to save your phone

i dont have any of that stuff installed .. i was reading on how to root my phone.. & i dont have a usb that plugs into the computer ... i can get into download mode.. looking at the screen as we speak.. but without the cord i think im screwed. i dont know much about this stuff.. buttttt i do know im tempted to throw this phone... its junk anyway... SIGH .

Bro its simple...get a usb chord from a gas station or something lol..you will need a usb chord..what about the chord that connects to your charger?..you will need access to a pc..read Hroarks instructions..and flash ej06 stock gingerbread image.made by Kouma.inless you want root and cwm custom recovery..then you would flash Chinchekkas image

i dont have the usb cord.. or course i have my charger cord... & a regular usb for a camera .. but it dont fit . of course . lol.. GRRRR ... my friend has a cord but i cant get it till after 6:00 !... so theres nothing i can do right now ?

Unless mine was special or something the usb cord detaches from the charger block...

Matter of fact the charger cords from my Prevail and Transform Ultra are the only ones that work for data transfer. My other cords (external HDD, etc.) fit and charge from PC but won't allow any data communications.

yeahhhh my phone was purchased used & they gave me some lame red and white bedazzled charger lol .. never got an original ..
 
this really sucks.... SOOOO when i get the usb cord.. if i ever get one... do i leave my sd card out & do the ODIN ? .. & how do i install the usb drive for my phone ? . sorry about the questions.. after reading the thread i still have some un answered questions to prepare myself ... : - <

My USB cable stopped working yesterday(it was very loose connection in phone port), so I went to best buy and got a new fancy "gold" rocket fish brand one for 20 duckets. Kinda a lot for a cable IMO but you can't put a price on when you need to ODIN :-)

im borrowing someones tomorrow ... not until 6pm tho. ugh . sucks i gotta wait so long.

I hate that you don't have a USB cord . That is a MUST HAVE in order to use Odin or just about any fix in this forum . Get it and help is here .

should be able to get the samsung drivers from the same thread maybe..download and install them for your pc to recognize your phone...i always leave my sd in..not sure it matters
 
LMAO !!!!! Good 1 . :D

I'm gonna need to get another USB sooner or later seeing since mine is a year old and has seen it's share of use . One things for sure when you need to buy something as necessary as a USB cord , it's best to buy a good one .
 
It is better than the original USB cable. What I really like about it is its a nice snug fit into the phone port. On a side note, I'm bout to make my 1st $45 monthly payment in a few days. And here my wife had me thinking "shrinkage" was a bad thing. Not no mo it ain't!!

Yeah , I'm LMAO right now . :D

It's really hard to beat that $35 a month unlimited once you get there . I think I've got like 2 or 3 payment until mine changes . The only thing that sux is if you upgrade the phone your plan will go up $5 . I've heard that if you complain a little and threaten to leave they'll keep you on the old plan . We shall see . :D

I'm gonna get new USB cable in a few weeks . I need to start looking around for one and getting some prices .
