Obama Care Yet Again

Like I said, "those people" already get it. It is ALREADY given to them. Why not give some relief to people like me? The people who employ a vast majority of America.

you do not have to provide health care, you choose to

i had 1 employer that allowed you to buy through them, but did not pay
my current pays base plan for family, better for me

you get some relief, dont you get a tax credit for some of what you pay?
i know as an individual i can claim a partial deduction for what i contribute

Umm, if I dont offer anything to my employees, I get second rate employees. Or, after spending a lot of money on training, they leave. Way to address the other part of the post. The one where the reason you dont support it is moot. Because "those people" already get it. Payed for by us. And, you have to pay 10% of your AGI for care, BEFORE you start getting any credit or deduction.

true, thats when you have to adjust your fees to meet your cost. and i know its difficult to do, ive been in that situation, and its hard. theres a fine line to walk. i dont envy anyone doing it, one reason i got out.

but remember as a small business owner your most likely considered rich, not knowing all the info i cant say for certain, and you need to pay more by the standards of many people

and remember it could be worse, your employess could unionize :)

yep, and before when i was covering alot of the cost i met this, not not so much

Well, there is a lot less wiggle room in that fine line now. Yes, I do allright, but technically I am "middle class". I am well above the poverty line, but I am far from rich. In fact, I have 2 employees who made more money than I did last year. This year doesnt look much better. Maybe next year.

For the third time now... "those people" already get it.

but according to those people all your business income is your income, even though you pay it to employees, see you are rich

and yes those people do get it, and the government wants to increase that number of people

Who are 'these people"? lol

That is your response? Really? Come on, people know what overhead is. I draw a paycheck from my business. According to what I report to the IRS, I am middle class. And no, the government doesnt want to make more of "those people". Right now, with the way things are, the government wants less "people like me". Wich is what is happening. And that is making more of "those people", today, with the way things work NOW.

you give people too much credit. yes some people know overhead. but they assume things not true. i can just use what ive heard or been told as a reference

Not mine. People I know consider you rich when you drive a Ferrari. Not a Jeep. But, I can see how someone who drives a 1992 Civic would consider me rich because my Jeep is new.

How about a flat insurance rate? say 15% monthly income. All inclusive, same treatments for everyone.

≥60% you state in this post, now its 30% according

These people we are talking about are still probably less misinformed than you, which is fairly worrying

my bad, i shoulda said many of those in the bottom 50% and some of those in the higher, i dont always put my thoughts properly into typing

nope, flat rate of $400 a month per person

look before when i asked about family coverage

mother/father/2 kids costs same as mother/father/6 kids

this is a big problem, even more now that kids can stay on longer

If we are looking to support "everyone" then you should know everyone can't afford $400 a month. I can tell you when i was makin minimum wage in GA just last year i barely made $500 a month. Percentage is feasible.
Reduce the age of a "child" to 17, or once they start working they have their own insurance.

and the 15% was just a random figure. Im not actually proposing that number

then thats where you apply for government assistance, and see if you qualify

but they just raised the age of a child, no way they are gonna lower it
iirc they upped it from 22 to 26
the 22 was to allow college kids to stay on
the 26? i have no clue
