Help OBNOXIOUS Google Play Notification (How do I Turn it Off???)

I use GO Launcher instead of TouchWiz, but I don't know if the issue is Google Play Store or if it is my launcher, but every single time an app installs or updates, this popup window from (I think) Play Store appears from the bottom of the screen, covering everything I'm working on. I always have to hit cancel, it goes away for a second, and then comes back...so I have to inconveniently wait for the pop-up to return, which it always does a second time, and hit cancel AGAIN to make it permanently go away.

This is EXTREMELY obnoxious when I have several apps updating at once because every few seconds this pop-up will show up and I have to hit cancel repeatedly for it to go away.

Does anyone know where this popup notification comes from, and how to get rid of it?

Yeah,it's some app you've d/l from the Google Play Store.
I'd suspect the suggested apps are from the same source/developer as one that's on your phone.
 
That's not a standard play store notification that I've ever seen. Does the notification show up in your status bar? You should be able to longpress it in the status bar and then hit an icon to get more info. Should tell you which app it's coming from.
 
No, it pops up from the bottom of the screen. Thank you for the info...Im glad to know I can just get rid of an app to remove it. And unfortunately there are no icons to click on to see which app it is coming from. It just gives me the option to cancel or open an app that has been recently installed. That's it
 
I just realized that the two suggested apps in that notification popup are game apps, so I will try deleting all of these game apps to see if it gets rid of it. I rarely play them anyway.
 
Dang. That sucks.it can be tedious trying to figure out where a popup is coming from.

The nature of the notification seems to be related to some sort of app store. Do you have any alternative app stores installed?

No, it does not show up in the notification bar or status bar. Its pops up from the bottom of the screen and I cannot click on it to find out where its coming from. I ran lookout but it found nothing [emoji20] http://
 
Are you using Go SMS? After doing some searching, I've found that people got these ads after installing that and they stopped after removing.

If not, it may be coming from your go launcher. Personally, I wouldn't use any of the go apps, but that's just me.
 
I can't figure out what this is coming from. I did factory reset and when I installed just a few apps it started popping up again. I really don't want to have to reset again, and none of the ad blockers told me where its coming from. They actually give me an error message that have stopped working. So I cannot figure out which app is causing this popup. Lookout does nothing, the other aware blockers and scanners just end up "stopped working" and I can't figure it out. Please help...I'm soooo frustrated. [emoji35]
