Root OC Kernel?

For LG Volt developers: I used to have a LG Optimus F3 and Robaho (i.e., in LG Optimus F3 All Things Root Virgin Mobile) posted a flashable OC kernel he created for the LG Optimus F3. Those who are developing on the CM11 (or any other LG Volt developer), could you compile an OC kernel building upon the technique of Android Forums user Robaho?
Link for developers to Robaho's LG Optimus F3 OC kernel post; I'm sure Robaho could instruct a LG Volt developer to do the exact same thing for the LG Volt: http://androidforums.com/threads/overclock-kernel-v4.845544/
If this were created for the LG volt, we might be stably overclocked to ~1.8GHz. Thanks in advance!

What's the point in oc'ing if ram is bottlenecking us? We need to work on more important issues first but I'm sure in the future someone will work on it.
Well, RAM is keeping us from doing lots of things at once, but a little bit of OC would help things run a little smoother.

Although, I agree, there are more important things, like getting cm11 going.

If you download the LG Volt source kernel (either zv4 or zv5) you can see how close the LG Volt Snapdragon 400 *msm8226* (/kernel/arch/arm/mach-msm/acpuclock-8226.c -- unmodified ZV5 source file attached; remove .txt) cpu config file is to the different Snapdragon referenced in this easy overclocking Snapdragon cpu's youtube video:

you know, if you became a kernel guy and worked on stuff like this for us, everyone would benefit. there is literally no effort to do this right now, we are all more focused on custom roms right now. maybe in the future one of us could do this, but if you really want it done your gonna have to jump in and work at it too.
