Help Occasional Buzzing Sound

Hi - I just bought my first smart phone - Samsung Stratosphere - and am loving it. I keep it on my desk while at work and at least one to twice a day it will make a short buzzing sound (almost like a vibration). I check to see if a call or text message came in but it never does. Any ideas what this could be?

Welcome to the forums, pat.

That "buzz" can be a serious issue going on in the operating system, often a conflict between "services" working in the background.

You may have to go through your apps/widgets and disable them one at a time, or uninstall, to test and discover which one (or two, etc) is not playing nice with the system; a bit of a hassle, but worth it as there is also resource drain going on and your battery life could suffer over time.
