So I got the VZW Kitkat last Thursday and was pleased. I mean, there's a few things that look different, and some bugs.
But I go to charge that night and 5 or 10 seconds after pluging in, my screen turns on. Like, full bright in the dark bedroom, on.
I tried restarting the phone, no change. I did install some new apps that same day, and tried closing them out (not installed, yet). I eventually got it to quietly sleep after about an hour of screwing around.
Over the weekend, different charger/cable, no issues. Home last night, same thing.
I eventually got it to keep the screen off, no idea how.
Anybody see this? I am fairly certain it is a charger (or cable) issue. But that really doesn't make sense. My wife's Jellybean phone is fine.
