odd... my O2 Desire just reset itself without me touching it,

it just suddenly rebooted besides me on the table, started up fine and seems no different, do you think it was O2 prepping it before they release their 2.2 update in a few weeks?

i doubt it, o2 do not posses the ability to remotely reboot your phone.

It's (Quite literally) infinitely more probable a task killer or some other app caused the phone to crash and restart.

Aye, phenomenolgical.....id say its the task killer or faulty mother board.....only happens to me when im useing my phone loads out side a wifi network and hammering 3g.

I'm not running any task killers or similar, and apart from a few text messages, hadn't used the phone all day. I was not on wifi and had a good 'H' signal. I have 15mb free and had rebooted the phone manually the day before to get the extended controls widget working again after an update. its never crashed or reset before.
