Odd notification

Ok, this one is a bit odd and I know there could be a million and one things it "could" be. But just looking for ideas. Let me know any info you want me to provide.

It seems that every morning at 6:30AM the phone buzzes (as i keep the volume off on weekdays). It is the same sort of thing you would get if you received a message. Now I have only had the phone for 3 weeks so I am still figuring out the Android system, but I have checked everything i could think of that would be a daily reminder type of thing.

There are no alarms set, there are no calendar items set, the email is not set to give an audible notification when i get mail, and the texting program I have did not have any new messages after the buzzing (Textnow is the app I have been using) I really do not have any other apps that I can think of that would give any sort of daily notifications.
Any ideas?

This may be when the phone reconnects to a data connection in the morning.

Are you in a roaming area by chance?

Not that i am aware of no, plus it is connected to my home wi-fi and i have it set to stay connected even when it is asleep.

I have still yet to find the source of the buzz. It is not a huge deal, just a minor annoyance.

Mine buzzes every time charging is complete. With the phone hooked up all night it will stop charging abd when it drops down to 99 will charge again. At 100% the phone receives a notification and the kernal stops charging.

I am figuring at this point it is some program doing it's thing in the background that I am just not aware of. It was more a curiosity to me since the phone and Android are fairly new to me. With the Android tablet there really was not much to do in comparison to the phone (as far as settings to make things the way you need them that is).

I do have an unrelated question since people are actually posting though.
Do you need to have mobile data turned on to use a GPS app like Google Maps? I have mine turned off because when I first got this phone it used up an entire months worth of data in 3 days and through me for a huge loop. Since I have turned it off I virtually use no data which is what I was used to with my iPhone. For some reason no matter what I did the iPhone did not use but a miniscule amount of data, including using GPS for trips and while on vacation. But this one has me afraid to turn it on because I only have 300MB a month on my plan. This being because I watched data usage on my iPhone for 3 years and never went over 200MB so I figured why pay for 1GB of data.
