Root Odd problem just started

Recently my AT&T Captivate has began to echo my own voice back to me when I answer a call. The party recalls me, it never duplicates and the call is fine.

Anyone ever experience this before?

i have at random times, but i assume it was just random chance, i dont ever think anything of it, and it hasnt done it for months. im not really sure honestly, what caused it tho.

It sounds like your modem isn't communicating well with your phone. Did you flash a new ROM and/or modem?
