So i work in a cell store that services LycaMobile. it uses an international sim card, and Verizon phones that are internationally unlocked use it fine. so i was wondering if it was at all possible to remove the region lock on the LG870 (Optimus F7) from boost mobile. im n employee of boost and they said that there is no such thing. but verizon said the same thing when i had a GS3 but it worked with my Lyca card. Any help would be fantastic. thanks.

Well it all depends on the international carrier, it needs to support CDMA devices because the F7 is a CDMA device with a 4g LTE card. I would have to agree with everyone else, its not possible. The there are versions of the GS3 that are GSM so you have better luck of course when unlocking that version to another carrier. The GS3 also has lots of devs and hackers in their forums to help with unlocking and building custom ROMS but over here as you can see, its pretty much dead. Theres no known tool to unlock the F7 and just technically speaking i'm gonna say its just not possible. You'll have better luck with the Official International F7 which is called the Optimus LTE3, its only available in Korea but im sure its possible to get a hold of one.
