Help odd symbol on notification tab

[porthos7]

I have an odd symbol on my notification tab. It looks like a diamond with a "rifle" sight in the middle. Anyone out there have any idea of what it is? Thanks in advance!

I believe what you are refering to is the "location" indicator, which shows that you have the phone set to allow the network to determine your location via GPS. If you really want to turn this off, you can do so: menu/setttings/location
