Help Odd Voicemail Issue

Here's the rub...
If I install GOSMS or any other SMS program, my voicemail stops working. Instead of getting an indication I get an odd text message about Sprint messaging. If I uninstall the SMS app, everything works the way it should. I did call tech support and they suggested a hard reset! I am assuming that Sprint uses SMS for voicemail notification and the stock program passes it along to the voicemail app. Not a big deal but I would like to use a different application for SMS. Since Sprint is oblivious to this, does anyone know of a fix or workaround in one of the aftermarket SMS apps?

I too also had same issue, I was using go sms, was getting those text messages and my voicemail wasnt working properly. I tried handsent , which to me, is the same app. You can do exact stuff with it, ever since using it, that message nonsense has not happened.

You should definitely use google voice for voicemail. So many features, it is free, and works awesome
