Well, I'm trying to save my Vibrant (soft brick, I believe). I've gotten into download mode and all, downloaded Odin and all the files for it, etc.. but when I connect my phone in download mode (USB), I get a 'USB device not recognized' error message. Just have to install the drivers, right? Apparently not. I've installed tons and tons of drivers for it, and I'm still getting the annoying error message. Because of this, Odin does not detect my phone.
I'm running on Windows 7 32bit, and I'm honestly at a loss of what to do.. when I boot my phone up, I get an ever-lasting 'Vibrant' screen.
Yes, I'm new to this.. sorry for not really knowing how to explain things. If any of you guys could help, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
And yes, I can get to the recovery screen as well, if that makes any difference.
