So I walked into a mall type place. Went up to the first little phone booth thingy, it looked more like one of those big jewelry booths that are scattered about in the main hall of malls.
I took a long look over the phones, there was a bunch of them. All the same size and shape as my evo. I picked out the Marlboro one (like the cigarettes). The lady behind the counter took it out for me to play with. It had a crappy light brown colored UI. The icons were ridiculously small, and the scrolling was sooo laggy that the screen practically made two big jumps as I scrolled from the top to bottom.
I told the lady that I have an evo and I was trading it in for this Marlboro phone because there was a bunch of new phones coming out, so I wanted to downgrade my phone.
The sales lady told me that she had an evo and the battery life was horrible. And I told her that I had modified the software and it was really good now. BUT, I was going to downgrade to the Marlboro phone anyway.
So the sales lady hands me my brand new crappy brown colored phone and ask me "Are you sure you can do it?" And I told her that "I don't think so."
I turned around and walked away feeling so empty and sad leaving my evo behind. Just as I stepped out of the the front of the building I turned to my mom, on the side of me, and said "I can't do this!" Yeah, my MOM was with me the whole time!!
So turned and ran back into the building profusely apologizing that I was so sorry but I couldn't do it. I needed my evo back! The sales lady told that it was OK, that she understood and handed my evo back to me. In one frantic swoop I ripped my otterbox off of the Marlboro phone..........
AND then the alarm clock went off!!!
WOW.
Maybe we have some psychology major around that can tell me how eff'ed up this whole dream was?
I think that I might be spending too much of my free time with my evo. It might be time to put it down, and walk aawwaayyyy from the EVO.
