Offical ICS update on rooted phone

Noob question, when Orange release the ICS update will I loose my custom rooted kernel rom etcetera on my phone.
Also after its update are there any suggestions on changing or flashing anything to it to improve the phone?

Thank You

George

I've never heard of that kernel, but as you are rooted you won't automatically get the orange update in the first place. You will have to do it manually through Odin.

so when it comes out for orange i can flash it via odin using CF's method... then use the triangle away app after flashing checkrom v6 and siyah kernel or is that poitnless?

thank you again.

There is a CF-Root kernel for ICS, so you can re-root it. Don't think triangle-away has been sorted for ICS yet though.

Checkrom 6 is Gingerbread not ICS so yeah it would be pointless flashing that.

yes :D love there roms and kitchen pro with the jkay deluxe also makes it so much more easier and smoother.

also thank you as I've been looking at that app and waiting for the new ICS update so I can flash it and then triangle away then wait for checkroms ICS Rom instead of theme.
