To anyone who has bought their phones at a verizon store, do they have any accessories in stock yet, like the case with the kickstand?

I've heard that they have spare batteries. I'm sure they have plenty of "one size fits all" accessories.

I'm looking at that kick-stand case (there's 2 that I've found) and I'm not sure I like the pattern on it, looks kind of cheap but then again it might look like the one I currently have for the Thunderbolt.

You don't want that. My girfriend has this Otterbox style on her i thingy. It's impossible to completely get the screen protector to lay flat and get all the air bubbles out. It then creates a barrier that blocks some of the screen's resolution out. I've tried to get her to let me cut the screen protector off, since she's insistent on keeping the case...but she refuses. Iphone users....I don't get them.

I had the same issue a couple of years ago on my BB storm. I used a tiny shot of baby powder on the inside of the screen protector and that helped it to eliminate the air bubbles. Just need a tiny puff from the container or you may see it.

Corporate store in Ky had the media dock, the otterbox defender case, and some cheesy 15 dollar screen protectors. Almost got the dock though

I will probably lean toward the dock, though I'd like to see the case with the kickstand. I like to watch movies while I am at work. I just prop the phone up under my computer monitor. It is about 1/8th of an inch to narrow to prop on my keyboard and rest on the bottom of my monitor! I like my phones nekkid, so I'm not worried about screen protectors but I thought I'd check the case as well. I guess I will run over to one of our stores after work and see what they have.

Puchased charger for $39.99 with a 25% discount at VZ. Not too many choices in cases. No need to buy car charger, FCC regs make it so that everything is universal.

i'm so close to at the very least going without a screen protector for real....

need a case cause it just doesn't feel right in hand without one. not sure i want any of the bulky otterbox ones.... we really need to find some accessory review vids, plus seidio, SGB, etc to get of buts and release some stuff

I'm laying low for some sort of car mount/charger. Never owned one before but think it would be a nice accessory. And Night... you will love going naked with your Rezound but if you go a protector.. you will not be happy with anything less than a Steinheil. After my first Dinc refurb I just gave up and went without.

Anyone figure out the wireless charging. It looks to be included in the current battery door, but no chargers sold on verizon yet. The generic one verizon sells does not work with the Rezound.

I bought the Charge Dock. I love dock mode. I also bought the extended battery. It is thick, 20mm thick. The phone with fits in the charge dock with the extended battery. But, I want to use a case. I can't find one for the extended battery. I am considering doing a DrPheta mod on a silicone case like I did on my Incredible. I have drawn a template to start cutting with the X-acto knife. The phone will not fit in the dock with a case on the phone.

HTCPedia has 2 slim extended capacity batteries. They have one in 1700mAh and one in 1800mAh. The batteries are red but they look like they aren't HTC OEM. Another possible red flag is both batteries are 3.7 volts, just like the Thunderbolt's batteries. I seem to recall that TXGoat tried a 3.7V battery out of his Thunderbolt and it shows that little triangle with an exlamation point inside on the notification bar when he used it, so the same thing might happen here.

I may try the 1800mAh since I want to keep the stock battery door (both for the better antenna and ability to put it into a regular TPU case), but only if they confirm that I can return it if I see the triangle/with ! or if it performs poorly. Many non-OEM slim batteries that are higher capacity than stock actually give about the same performance as the stock one. Seidio, I'm lookin' at you.

Here's a link, just scroll down to the battery section. They have the stock 1620, the slim 1700 & 1800, and the 2750 extended with the extended door.
HTC Rezound

Edit: They also now show TPU cases for extended battery phones, but as usual they just cut out the area where the door protrudes more than the stock one.

How's the 4G signal with the extended battery? Someone posted in the TB forum that it robbed some signal strength.

I checked different batteries (normal and extended). The 4G signal is about the same. Maybe 1 or 2 dBm differnce. -63 to -64 dBm with stock battery and door -65 to -66 dBm with extended battery and door. The only thing different I have noticed is the rear speaker is not as loud with the extended battery and cover. It may be due to the box around the speaker on the extended battery door.

I went to a couple of Verizon stores to check out the cases for my naked Rezound. Was shown the hard shell case with the kickstand that folds out. I tried to pop out the kickstand and damn that thing was a PITA to try and pry opened. Next thing I noticed was that as someone mentioned, the case has room for the extended battery and thus there's a little wiggle room inside the case with the regular battery.

I looked at the silicone skins they had, a red one and a black one. The red one just screamed out "Attention whore!" and before you guys say anything, no I didn't pick that one :p I passed on both the red and the black, although the black one was somewhat see-through and gave the phone a somewhat carbon fiber appearance, but alas I didn't like that one either.

So I head to another store and I thought that maybe the plastic piece with the fold out kick stand wouldn't be so bad despite the fact that it felt like the kickstand would eventually break (there is this small plastic piece that snaps in and out to secure the kick stand, that'll be the first thing to go).

As I was making my purchase, the guy comes out, "I have the otterbox defender series". I thought for a second and said, "Lets see what it looks like". Damn thing turned my Rezound into a frik'n big CB radio. I felt like I could call in an airstrike with that thing. But considering the alternative, I went ahead and purchased it. $45 out the door with my discount. Screen sensitivity is a little diminished since it's not as smooth as touching the bare naked (oh baby!) screen on the TB, but if you can manage to glide your finger across the screen with extremely dry hands, you should have no problem registering commands. Oh and if you hate the buttons on the Rezound, the Otterbox actually IMPROVES the touch of those buttons....Go figure.

I have that same Otterbox, but I pulled out the plastic screen cover piece before I put my phone in, so I have most of the protection but all of the sensitivity.

I'm going to be a lot happier once Seidio has an Innocase/holster combo available...

Popping the plastic off seems like an option, but then you have that dried on glue that would probably eventually get warm and seep all over the phone.

I was able to remove all the glue, it was similar in consistency to rubber cement.

Anyone getting a Video out adapter for their Rezound? Will this work? Jarv MHL microUSB to HDMI Adapter at MobileCityOnline.com

This seems a little too expensive for video out. I'd rather just get a video projector with a USB input, granted that would work.

HTC Rezound TV Out: Connected to HDTV via HDMI cable

I ordered an otterbox for a guy at work with a blackberry since he tends to be rough with his phones. The "screen protector" on that thing was a thick plastic that made it hard to register touch on the screen. I wonder if it will be any different on the Rezound.

That looks slick. I could answer text messages on my 57" TV!!

Yeah the touch screen is definitely better than I anticipated. The only problem I had was my fingers were used to the real slick feel of the phone's screen. The Otterbox's screen protector isn't as slick, maybe it's production residue from the manufacturing site?!?!

Here are some of the kickstand option cases for the Rezound. Verizon does sell the one that is designed for an extended battery, but if you are not buying an extended battery then this case will have an extra unnecessary space. In the link below we have an option for standard or extended battery kickstand cases.

Hey HTCPedia Shop, any info on when Seidio is gonna get off their duff and come up with an Innocase/holster combo for the Rezound? TIA...
