It looks like I have just got the OTA update on my HTC Desire a few seconds ago!!! It is downloading as we speak. I live in London, UK and have an unlocked device.

Installing update now! Had a uk Orange branded desire last night which I unlocked first htccode.com then followed the step by step guide on here & flashed it no problem. Now have unbranded, unlocked desire thats now installing 2.2

Make sure Orange Debranded people have their Goldcard in while updating!

I used my goldcard to update - whatever else might happen I don't want a repeat of the wireless/unlock debacle of a few weeks ago.

I forgot to make my 16GB card into a gold card so I quickly popped in my goldcard, then carried on downloading the update.
