Chong67, It will work perfectly fine with T-Mobile's LTE, GSM, and the 1900Mhz band of HSPA. It will not work with T-Mobile's AWS (1700/2100Mhz) HSPA+. It is the same exact phone as the Unlocked one except it is pure Android. It makes more sense (no pun intended) for them to offer it as an Unlocked phone and T-Mobile is investing all their money in switching HSPA over to 1900Mhz. Sense isn't a skin as people often incorrectly label it, but an Operating System with Android as it's base. Much like Suse and Ubuntu are Operating Systems with Linux as it's base. I can't see anyway to put that in the Playstore.

So the HTC Google experience and the HTC Unlock on HTC site are the same device except for Sense 5 and both will have problems on T-mobile.
I am thinking of getting a T-mobile version for me and my wife will get the Google experience version. My wife does not have any data plan.
Then I will be able to tell you all my experience and the 1900 mhz coverage.
Still waiting for the $579 price to come down.

Honestly, if you have a nexus 4, i don't see much of a reason either except for the camera. The One has a better processor and a better screen but the nexus 4 is still one of the best phone right now.

I thought both have the same spec on the back camera at 8 megapix and the front on One is slightly better.
There is no timer on the One for the camera. I install another app call Cmaera Zoom fx and it has timer. Having timer means u can take your own pict further away. When I held my camera up close, I get double chin!

Technically the Nexus 4 has a 8 megapixel camera on the back while the HTC One only has a 4 ultrapixel camera on the back. With that said it isn't always about how many megapixels the camera has.
It depends on a number of things, including software which the Nexus camera lacks. The HTC One camera is significantly better when comparing to the Nexus 4.
I live in the United States and want to buy an unlocked HTC One, so far it seems the cheapest place to get it from is simply the HTC online store, but I came across this listing on Amazon and I want to know if you guys this it's real:

Ok this is kind of a stupid question, but here goes. I just got tmobile for the first time with a Nokia Lumia 521. If I buy a HTC One and put my sim card in it, will everything be set and ready?
I have a 4g plan and everything. I'm not wondering about photos, music and stuff, just if my account will work simplly by putting my SIM card in another phone (specifically the HTC one)

With any GSM handset the answer is "yes" (as long as the handset is not locked to a network).

Yes, that is correct.
That's actually the whole point of the SIM card - it identifies you to the network, and any phone you put it in becomes "your phone". The only thing to watch is that a phone bought from a network will almost certainly only accept that network's SIMs. So a T-Mobile or unlocked model should be fine (check 3g/4g frequencies on the unlocked model match T-Mobile).
I last bought a handset through a contract in the 90s. Since then I've just bought offline phones and transferred the SIM.
Keep in mind that the Unlocked version does not support HSPA+ on AWS (1700/2100) on T-Mobile, only HSPA+ on 1900 which is currently going through build out.

Yea, I knew what SIM cards so, never dealt with them because Sprint barely uses them, at least when I had Sprint. Like I said, just switched to t mobile and while the answer to my question seemed simple enough, I just wanted to make ABSOLUTELY sure before dropping up 3 or 400 + dollars for the HTC One. thanks for the answers.

Sorry, by Build Out I mean that T-Mobile is currently upgrading their network and transferring HSPA+ over from AWS, which requires 1700mHz for the download and 2100mHz for the Upload (I may have that backwards), to 1900mHz for both. It will be cleaner and faster with about the same amount of signal penetration. So far 1900 is up and running in a few places but not widespread yet to my knowledge. What does this mean for you? Well if you have the Unlocked version and you are somewhere without LTE(most likely you are) and 1900mHz HSPA+ (also a good chance) then your data would be on Edge. At least this is in line with everything I have read. I could be missing a piece here but the Unlocked version is basically the AT&T version (it is 100% compatible with AT&T).

The point about frequency has been explained, and as I'm not American probably better than I can do. The thing is that all Ones are equal for 2G, but not for 3/4G, so you should check carefully before buying an unlocked handset whether it does what you want.

My Tmo One is $650 out of the door w/o a new sign up. Where do u get 3 to 400 hundres?
I was going to the unlock from HTC, but decide to go with the Tmo version as I know it will 100% work plus it has more frequency than the HTC Unlock.
I have use Nexus 4 and I find out when on 3G (which is HTC One 2G on the phone) is not that great.
