hmmm...that's a toughie. I'd suggest you post in our Root subforum or XDA Atrix forum for help on that.This seems to be a general problem of the phone:

Man this phone is rotten. I mean its not even as good as my old 3gs. What a terrible decision I made not getting the 4. Streaming pandora through an Aux port leaves a screeching sound....streaming mlb app is like listening to a skipping CD....not to mention freezing up. And the warranty replacement phone was worse.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience
If you're within your 30 days, you can exchange it for the iPhone4? If not, the Atrix does fetch a nice catch on the market. If you're going to do it on ebay, do it international and unlock it so that you can sell it for more money.

I think something need to realize is that this phone is literally brand new!
Almost if not ever single phone that gets released (Androids) has some bugs that need to be worked out. Those bugs get fixed in the form of software updates and as time goes on the Rooting World will perfect this phone.
With that said keep in mind this phone is a BEAST of a phone it is as it stands right now ahead of its time! i have done a **** load of research on the atrix before i bought it and i can tell you its ahead of its time because there is proof on the market.
As for the problem with Skype not having Video calling, thats because so many android phones are being released all the time that they have to compile an update for many different batches of android phones. Once they are ready to release an update im sure you can bet that your atrix will work just fine.
The weird feedback noise you hear when your using an app like Tango to video chat? ya thats because they also don't have the atrix added to their data base yet.
Oh whats that you say about the crappy camera quality?
I read from a dev source that there will be an update for the atrix either in the android 2.3 update we will be receiving or an ota from moto to in fact give the atrix full 1080p video recording ability! as well as camera software updates.
This is one of the first dual core phones in the world ever! this thing is actually more powerful than my netbook!!
The dev world has to catch up and the bugs need to and will be addressed in future updates, as for the Hardware issues, well that sucks but thats just the way the cookie crumbles for some...
But to all the loyal Atrix owners: keep your chin up and be patient, you own one of the most powerful phones on the market!
And for all those that are doubting the Atrix: Man are you going to be pissed off when all the bugs are worked out and all the apps are updated and compatible with this Goliath of a device and we are enjoying true dual core speeds and everything else this incredible phone has to offer.

So I just got an Atrix not long ago and something that I have experienced that hasn't already been listed is that sometimes when I am listening to my music it will start to have really bad sound quality, it distorts every drum beat and things like that. First I thought it was the headphones but I tried a few different ones I have and same results. Next, I tried a bunch of different music programs and this worked at first but then the same thing would happen after a while. One thing that did work was to shut down and start up the phone again and then it has clear sound for a while after which it starts to do it again.
Music is important to me but I don't feel like it should be necessary to shut down and restart every time I need to get the quality back. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone find any other solutions or have suggestions?

Im having similar problems w/my atrix,allthough im in denial w/the posibillity of myissue being a virus,so I found the menu Johnny found and believe that maybe thiers a startup app./software bypass,thing is I didnt figure out what to do next to excute my chosen option.PLEASE HELP ME SOMEBODY

So far loving my Atrix. Just running the stock MotoBlur for now, but will experiment with rooting and GingerBlur at a later date when I feel more confident and knowledgeable about all things Android.
In the meantime, my only major concern is how to get downloaded TV show episodes (divx/xvid AVI's that I normally watch on TV via a PVR) to display properly on the Atrix. They currently only show at half size when held in landscape. I want them to stretch to full size. Happens like this for standard vid player, mvideoplayer, mobo etc. When I play the same files on PC or TV, they stretch to full 16:9 and look great. I figured if anything, the Atrix screen would just function the same.
Hoping to have this solved by tomorrow when I get on a plane for several hours. Backup plan: Xanax and red wine.

Mine tends to crash and reset after some heavy USB data transfer (I use isyncr to transfer several GB and it crashes every time).
I have a cpu usage app which sits in the notification bar. This always goes up to and stays on 100%, the phone becomes unreponsive, then I most likely have a crash!

It might be the app. Have you sent the dev the logcat so he can see why the app crashed like that. I don't transfer really a lot like that, so I have never gotten it to crash.
Sorry for the delay in replying but I was testing various things in the hope of posting a solution, and I think I found it.
I didn't think it was the app as the crash usually occured after isyncr had been shut down and the phone had been unplugged from my computer. It usually happened when the android media scanner started running to detect the new files.
I was running AVG at the time, and it occured to me that this also scans media files. I've uninstalled it and replaced with Lookout. Since then I've gone from 3 - 5 crashes a day to not a single one since the uninstall
I have had the Atrix for about 4 days and the jittering screens have started today as well as the top of the screen not reacting to a touch. Not sure what is going on. I am going back and exchanging for another model. See what happens with that one.

That is a good idea, but be prepared that that may not be a solution. I recently returned my atrix that was 28 days old because the wifi had become increasingly unreliable and the phone frequently felt like the 2nd core was going to melt through the case at any moment. And why shouldn't you really want to like what you paid $300US to obtain? Hopefully Motorola will pull its head out of its ass soon and get some updates to fix these problems they are having.

What is your sync option for your emails, widgets like news/weather and all of the social medias?
If you need to root, you can't use SuperOneClick, it hangs, so you have to go to this and get Gingerbread.

Don't forget ot have a EXternal SD Card handy for mounting. I need to get one, but it seems to work based on whats there.

Mine restarted automatically 3 times (which I was able to notice)..
Have already done restore factory settings once (before restart problem) because phone became totally unresponsive, back screen.. Changed sim card also.. But still some times it lags, doesn't respond, loses network..
What are the options after 3 months? (bought from Costco)
Will Costco or ATT store exchange for brand new phone?

You should be able to get an exchange (though it might be refurbish) under your warranty.
