Root Official CM11 Nightlies

I tried to dirty install last nightly 05/03 over my 03/07 it seemed ok but the wifi was dead so I restored. (it's a wifi only phone as my spare)

Because the link still exists at /data/system/wpa_supplicant , you'll still have issues trying to run any newer ROMs, if you have not wiped from the old version. If you manually go in and delete it, you should be fine.

So there's a new nightlies that have been built since 05/03 has anyone tested them out yet? :D

Couldn't wait for anyone to respond so I flashed the 5/21 build and the 5/17 pa gapps and so far so good no problems with the status bar I've been running it for like 45 min seems really smooth. :D

I'm currently on PAC 4/18, wondering if I can take the newest CM11 build with a clean flash. It's my only phone, so I've gotta be careful XD
Also, do CM10 themes work with the new theme engine, or do I have to go back to CM10? The way I see it is if CM11 5/30 nightly is sorta stable enough (not randomly crashing in screen off/deep sleep), then it's good to go-I'll take it, and if they work then that's a bonus. If not, then I'm going back to PAC 4.3 or CM10.1.3 (which I'd rather avoid, I've gotten quite attached to KK).

I find the 5/30 build very stable certainly more than PAC (: no random boot offs or crashes (: only crash is with SnapChat beta when you're in the app and turn off the phone other than that its pretty much stable

This has nothing to do with ROM stability or anything of that sorts but in the cyanogenmod calculator there's some inaccuracies for example (1/9) hit equal and multiply the quotient by 9 should get 1 right? Nope it's 0.9999 which being a math geek really bothers me so yeah if anyone reads this from cm please let them know this. And yes I know I could switch calculators apps but I love cm for its different modes.

This is the nature of floating point calculations, and the android calculator is not meant for such usage. Afaik all roms will do this -- just tested gummy on find7. If you want a numerically precise calculator, search for one.

I use RealCalc. I have no issues with it.

Thanks - flashed 5/30, was pretty stable the first few days. Feels like it's coming apart now - can't tell if it's off or stuck when locked.
As a heads up, in case it's important, CM10 themes are okay with new engine. Couple of small artifacts on keyboard when typing quickly, however.
Does anyone know if Xposed works?

I know there's probably an answer somewhere in this forum but I've had an issue with cm in my SMS where it jut refused to send any text longer than 160 characters I found one thread about it and it had a dead-end link to an mms app is there anything I can do for this?

I haven't updated my rom in some time, the last time I tried the night builds it seems there were issues. Is anyone using these later builds? Anyone have any feedback on recent development?

Thanks!

Running the 7/9 build, pretty okay. Sometimes the screen doesn't turn on, or nothing is shown, but rarely. Android version bumped to 4.4.4
