Have any of you ever used the Realvision ENB mod?

I have ENB running on mine, makes the game a completely different experience. I have also added a lot of mods to redo the armors and make them look better, as well as the people.

My game looks pretty darn good right now, just so you know what I am running because I am getting at least 30 FPS at all times, except random times at night when I pull out my torch since I have some fire mod, that just makes the torch ridiculous lol.

CPU: Intel 2500K at 4.0GHz
RAM: DDR3 16GB 1600
VIDEO: 660TI Twin Frozr OC'd at 1200

It runs everything pretty well, every game I have come against has run at full specs, the only thing that is falling behind is my CPU, as it's the 2nd gen and intel is on 4th right now, I can tell that my video card wants to push the system harder but my processor can't handle it.

According to passmark (PassMark Software - Video Card Benchmarks - High End Video Cards) I should be around 4693, however, with the overclocking and such that I have put in measure, plus my card came preOC'd and then I up'd it even more I am scoring around a Radeon 7990 or GTX 680, so about 1000 points higher, which is kind of crazy.

My CPU is all the way down at 6369 (PassMark Intel vs AMD CPU Benchmarks - High End) and I should probably have something up around 9000 to keep up with my Video card.

Thanks for the advice on the ENB

See that's the problem you've got quite abit better speck computer than mine and yours is sometimes dipping below 30FPS so im not sure mine could handle all the ENB changes and still give me a decent framerate.

My spec is

CPU: AMD FX 6300 3.5 GHz 6-Core
RAM: DDR3 8GB 1600
VIDEO: RADEON HD 7850

The passmarks for Mine are 6396 for the CPU and but only 3706 for the graphics card so I probably have looked for abit better one of them,

Although I was planning on getting another at some point and cross firing them.

I dont know exactly what framerate i'm getting yet, was hoping to get the mod that shows it on the screen installed tonight.

oooh benchmarks

My G3D was 10125
CPU was 12228

Looks like my GFX card topped their charts heh. CPU did well too, beat a 4770 and 3930 stock (I have a 3770, OC'd). Placed about 15th I think.

Problem is pushing 2560x1600 (native res) @ 60fps is.... problematic in some games

If you want nice lighting without an ENB performance drop, try

- Climates of Tamriel
and
- Realistic Lighting Overhaul

Exams over, finally can go on my new witch hunter. Had to console command for my new gear though. But honestly, He's a cool looking witch hunter. :)

LOL. Playthrough did not go as planned. I saw Gopher's mod review of Conan Hyborian Age, and I knew I had to play it. And I knew I had to use my mod-tester save for it. I made that character a year ago and leveled him up to around level 3 (until getting to whiterun) just to test for mod stability. I just usually run around whiterun and dragonsreach and jorvasskr and look for stuttering and stuff. The sometimes I console command items to test them out as well. I made him look like Conan (as much as I could last year anyway) and named him Arnie Frankfurter (Red Alert 2 reference). I had to use him for this mod test. LOL

I had to level him to 10 so that I could start the quest. I'll post pictures when I finish the quest. LOL.

Well, I finally get the chance to play this on PC rather than console (Thank you Steam sales...)

ok where do i need to go for mods?
nexusmods? or somewhere else?
and what are some good recommendations?
I'd like the realistic characters(and the good looking women :p)
great looking armor, and of course better houses. :)
and any other things i should get that you guys think would be nice.

Nexus mods or steam workshop. The latter you access by finding the game in your steam library, then you'll see the blue workshop banner on its page. The benefit to doing it that way is that steam will install + update the mods for you, just like it does the base game.

The nexusmods page is older though, so it's possible they have some mods that never made it to steam. I don't follow it enough to say if that's the case though.

Thanks xyro. I was doing some through nexus mods, but until January when I buy parts for a new PC this game is going to be laggy as crud unfortunately.

im having issues with some of the mods launching in the game...
I am using the nexusmod manager, I may start using steam to do it.

but on steam I want to find the beauty mod for the women, as well as the realistic environment.
