You'll have more problems on steam. I always see newbie modders running to Nexus because steam broke their games and they need to reinstall.

What problems are you having? You do have proper load order right?
 
the game loads fine, the beauty mod for women does not work at all, the faces aren't exactly realistic either. some mods are working, but the beauty mods and realistic faces aren't

Worked for me...hmm that's strange.

You might want to try and removing other mods that might clash with the beauty mod, just to try and narrow down the culprit.
 
I found what the issue was, and I had my nexusmods in the wrong folder. I had to google search to find out why my mods weren't loading and nexusmods had the reason.

That and I had to get cbbe installed before any of the beauty mods would work because it was a requirement on a lot of them.

when my new pc comes in I may do SevenBase instead of CBBE
 
I've finally built my game and well be starting my new game now. I nearly hit the mid limit but as my tests have done so, it makes for an awesome play through. :-)
 
My brother started to play Skyrim on my PC earlier this week. He says he want's the game for PS3, but I tell him it's much better here on PC.
 
i will say this much so far TESO (The Elder Scrolls Online) is pretty awful.

it's just like World of Warcraft met Skyrim and WoW took over the whole thing.

the races are pretty similar, but the creatures you fight are pretty much WoW stuff.
Electric beetles?
Some big slug looking thing that can cast magic to protect itself?

skeevers(at least they are in there)
 
I signed up for TESO beta awhile back, but never got anything in my e-mail about it yet. I still want to give it a try, but I personally am not a big fan of MMO's or anything like it. I can never get better than many of the players who're already accustomed to these type of games. :(

So, Skyrim it'll be until the next game in the series comes out.
 
i have been having a heck of a time with the mods for skyrim, its as if all the npc overhauls doesn't work, nor does apachii hair.

I am reinstalling Skyrim and going to run boss to see if i can get them all in good order, I have tons of them installed.
the tons are from the ENB series to make everything look realistic, but I may go a different route with that.

Does anyone have any ideas? could boss fix my missing mods? pm me if you want more specifics of the mods I am using.
 
What do you mean by "tons from the ENB series"? You should only have the ENB mod and one ENB preset. You don't mix them together.

Agreed. I've played both the PC and console versions of Skyrim and the PC is definitely superior. You'll never get characters to look this good on the console.

to install RealVision ENB this is some recommends that he suggested to make mine look like his(it didn't)

this was when it worked.

I even have apachii hair installed and yet it doesn't load.... NPC hairs are still a bore like that have been. So I am unsure of what is stopping it from working.

Going to try this stuff again tonight and when it says about overwriting a mod im going to hit no.
maybe that was my issue.

and it seems as though nothing works. Installed it before CBBE and still some of the ugliest faces you'll ever see with hair to back it up :p
 
ApachiiHair doesn't work on NPCs, it just works for your character. Unless you are using the NPC overhaul mode.

Also post your BOSS log. Although you'll probably get better help in Nexus forums. That's where I all for help. Lol.

since i am not home and redone everything again I would have to test it out. I have seen apachii hair work on some npc's (or at least I thought i did)

regardless I am going to keep trying. My game crashed so many times yesterday trying to find the mistake that it was unreal. So I am hoping I can find a good NPC overhaul that works well with CBBE.
the one i had was supposed to but whenever it is activated my game crashes.
 
well it had to be that NPC overhaul that I had that messed everything up.
I reactivated RealVision with sexy whiterun, windhelm, riften, etc. And I tell ya, this game looks flawless now.

so bright and beautiful. I can see why this game is still one of the best to play.
 
Actually, personally, I don't really like Apachii. I just installed both versions a while ago and I don't like how the NPCs look. I'll stick with Superior Lore Friendly Hair.

i can understand that, it seems that apachii hair is just another way of seeing these new hairstyles that emo and goth kids(they are the same thing... right?) wear. as well as some ridiculous hair styles that are pointless.(I just prefer a pony tail or long hair, nothing fancy)
