I just hated the inventory system and the overall slowness (seemingly) of how the story developed/got going (or how it didn't for me, lol)

Yeah it took a good 2hrs for things to really get interesting. I was some 60+ hours of gameplay if you did a lot of side quests so.

I can't imagine you playing Dragon Age: Origins though -- that games was over 100 hrs long... to say it took awhile is..... well...

I have dragon age, lol
It was no mass effect but I admit to never finishing it. Didn't really care for the combat

One of the best RPG's I've ever played imo. Finished all the DLC's and everything. Maxed out a character of each class.

You sure do need to finish, and then pick up Dragon Age 2 once you're done. :p

so much this.

A lot of DA:O fans didnt really like DA2 but i loved both of them, even though they were very different games.

DA:O has a really, really deep story though if your explore it. The backstory of the old gods/Tevinter and Andraste is fascinating.

I think i might play some da2 right now. my DW rouge was such a crit monkey --- pure liquid damage lol

I had way to much trouble getting good at the combat in origin... Ended up putting it on easy, then quit playing

Lol @ "soldier"

You mean warrior, noob :p

:p
Hey its been a while and I'm all Mass effect! lol

Warrior... meh... something about the combat i just cant jive with.. still haven't messed with demo for part 2 but if i cant force myself to finish the first then i dont deserve to play the second... lol

I thought the combat in DA2 was better. A lot of people thought the game overall was worse though.

Hahaha

I think just focus on Strength and Constitution (HP) and make sure to have a healing mage around. I also played a shield warrior as my main. Slow but she was still the best DPS in the party.

I also always ended up taking 2 mages and gave them both some healing - though Wynne was clearly a better healer and Morrigan better dps. Then of course Leliana to pick locks and woo me with that sexy ambiguously European accent. :D

Yeah it was definitely lacking in some areas, but i enjoyed the combat and story. Esp. the way the story was told.

The re-used environments were just terrible. But I dug the game overall,

How long is skyrim supposed to be hours wise. Strictly main story line.

Fallout gets much more fun if your acquire some of the unique weapons.

Toasting a Death Claw with the Firelance is big fun :)
