I'm only playing at 1920x1080 although I cut my mods from 320 down to 112. I only had crashes about once every 4 hours even with that many mods.

Now with 112 I crash every 5-30 minutes

I've got a Summon Bear spell. I love it. After he's mauled my enemies he comes back and nuzzles me affectionately, wanting me to scratch him under his chin.

Wow, that's a lot of mods at a time. I might have about 50 now. Will be looking to more when the time comes when I want to do a lets play on youtube.

I like to run a lot to make the experience better and more realistic. But cheating mods are not my style. I like to make the game harder.

I love that bear.

Yesterday I FUS RO DAH'd a giant with one shout and sent him tumbling, killing him.

And this was on Legendary difficulty. :D

:car: rockin! sweet payaback for when you were level 5 amirite? :D

I just moved up to Master, and actually it's not bad at all. However I have deadly dragons on expert and those are insane! I have re-enchanted my gear with magic resist and that helps some.

Also am going a bit mod crazy now. I think i might be over 20 (shockingly high for me! :o).

I'm trying Falskaar, but havent gotten into it yet.

What mods are you guys using?

My quick list
-A Quality World Map
-Back off Barbas
-Better Females by Bella (no makeup version)
-Cloaks of Skyrim
-Convenient Horses
-Deadly Dragons
-Ethereal Elven Overhaul
-Falskaar
-Footprints
-Frostfall
-Immersive Armors
-No more blocky faces
-Project Reality - Climates of Tamriel
-Immersive Creatures
-SkyUI
-Superior Lore Friendly Hair
-Wet and Cold
-Winter is Coming
-SKSE
-Follower trap safety!
-Auto unequip ammo
-Stones of Barenziah quest markers
-Spend dragon souls for perks (can be a bit unbalancing, but use it sparingly)

Loved but am not currently using:
- Dark Brotherhood Resurrection
- Wrymstooth
- Moonpath to Elsweyr

So I installed Immersive Creatures and there are new stronger giants. I have it set on Expert (applies only to the new creatures) and the main game on Master.

The new giant sent my lvl 65 character flying like she was lvl 5 again. They are hilarious and scary. :)

Mods ftw.

Edit: also Falskaar is pretty fun so far.

I am watching GropherVids play Falskaar on YouTube he makes excellent let's plays. He also has the immersive creatures too, and one video was a complete fail because random creatures were owning him. I should install that mod.

I also want to start a let's play for Skyrim.

You should!

But yeah I saw that episode. It was hilarious when he was repeatedly owned by Werebears.

His LPs are fun to watch. There are a lot of face-palm moments when he walks passed a chest or some other quest item heh.

I never even thought something like that would be interesting. :)

They are great to watch. I really wanna start let's play series, for Skyrim, and fallout, as those are my favorite games to play. Need a new GPU, as I would be doing it in association with AMD.

Definitely post up the link if you ever get it going :) I think i might be ready to try Legendary but it sounds like Helgen is the hardest part. Anyways.... Just finished rebuilding my archer from scratch

lvl 67 Bosmer Vampire Lord (Master difficulty, Deadly dragons on Expert)

- Archmage of the College of Winterhold
- Thieves Guild-master
- Lord of the Volkihar
- Thane of all holds
- Own all the property
- Champion of all the Daedra (lol)

100 Archery
100 One handed
100 Sneak
100 Restoration
100 Enchantment
100 Smithing
100 Destruction
100 Light armor
100 Lockpick
98 illusion
80 alteration
70 conjuration

-Armor rating way over cap (like 1500 or something)
-Magic Resist capped (Lord and Atronach stone)
-Very high elemental resistances
-My bow can do over 800 damage, sword over 530 (or 1000, 750... if going all damage and not using resistance gear)

YET A DEADLY DRAGON CAN STILL WHOOP MY BOTTOM IF IM NOT CAREFUL :)

Those Sun Dragons and Aspects of Alduin can be rough...

I havent but I feel like I'd start a new character for SkyRe, resetting all the perks seems like a lot of work for a toon with few quests left.

SkyRe really does look interesting though. Have you tried it?

I got it installed, along with the patches and everything, started up the game and it kept on crashing, and crashing. So I removed the packages, and updates, and tried it again. It crashed. So I ran TES5Edit, and found out my issue. The plugin with the SkyRE requires DownGuard.... I don't have that, and don't want to pay for it right now.... Soooo, no I haven't tried it yet...
I want to, but don't want to pay for the package now. I'm broke, and want to get to starting my Lets Play on youtube soon.

So I played SkyRe some -- started a new character. And it was interesting but it also breaks so many things and changes so much about what you know about the game it can be hard.

Probably didn't help to try and start on master, the expert, then adept.

Also dual-wielding is painful at low levels I have discovered.

But I dont think SkyRe is for me. It draws out the time stuff takes too much. I might try it again after this playthrough (restarted without SkyRe), just wanted to play a death dealing whirlwind for a bit :)

Hope you get Dawnguard soon :) Sucks being broke though, definitely been there.

It's really a pain when a mod you want to add depends on DLC that you don't have as masters, using its resources.

Exactly. I even hear some of them are not even worth the money and mods like Falskar are better.

Falskaar is great. But it's not really better than any of the official DLCs* unless you only compare land-size. Even then, Falskaar is almost artificially large. Huge empty spaces that seem there just to make the landmass bigger.

Don't get me wrong -- I really enjoyed Falskaar. It was amazing what a group of volunteers could put together. (I used to work in the game industry, and still am a programmer, so i have a very good sense of the time and effort involved)

But those people who say things like "better than the official DLC" or "Bethesda should be ashamed" are just trolls that don't know what they are talking about :)

*Well, except Hearthfire, but that's not really a DLC....

Dragonborn was the best, Dawnguard was good, but both are a tad pricey for a DLC. But such is the way of inflation I guess.
