My 2 cents on the whole advertising thing. I don't remember there being all that much advertisement for the Pre last year, but there was still a line of about 50 people waiting to get in the store when it opened on release day. I was getting all of my info on the Pre from precentral.net just like I'm getting all of my info (or lack thereof, currently) about the Evo here. No one knew what the heck the Pre was when I got it, and it will probably be the same with the Evo. No matter what, I want one and I can't wait to get one! We can bitch and moan all we want about how Sprint is right or wrong, but they're gonna do what they wanna do and unfortunately all we can do is sit and twiddle our thumbs in anticipation. Now don't everyone jump down my throat when you read this, because I could be completely wrong. But, I honestly don't remember when the wierd ass Pre commercials started last year; if it was before or after they started selling it. But either way, I know it wasn't that much before or after release time. Even if Sprint took everyone's advice and had the Evo selling already and was advertising and really getting the hype out there, it wouldn't matter, it will not sell like the iTurds do. So let the sheeple have their iBlows, that just means there are more Evo's for the people that are ACTUALLY cool!
