there is a pretty sketchy vid of the white one

Looking for it....just can't find.....still looking
 
Phew! I thought I was all alone! Was like the time when I watched "The Fourth Kind" all alone! Crappin scary! hahaha Yeah I wish they would give up some pics of the white one! Am I the only dude in Hawaii in here?? I can't be the only one??
 
White for me also, with black accents under camera and kickstand, and maybe a red front faceplate
 
Did I miss some official news or leaks about a white version? Sure Supersonical saw the white one from the video, but that also said Supersonic on it, which the ones at CTIA didn't. Makes me think the one in the video was an htc internal dev phone and sprint changed the look to their taste, ie the CTIA version. Or was there news I missed?

Sorry I didn't see that it was and April fools joke and as soon as i did i posted that part of it. I apologize.
 
hahahahhaa I got excited when I saw jonathanflo's post and then yes I was disappointed to see it was an April fools joke, but cmon seeing someone post that info in another forum is what makes April fools jokes so great.

I was doing a little sprint coverage research while mountain biking today. All areas in red had sprint voice / data coverage. Even had 3 bars many times. Data speeds were a little slow in some areas but was not roaming. I know this area didn't offer good coverage before if any but does now. I have driven the entire map before and had sprint service on and off in many areas out in the middle of the forest.

I later took a drive up 471 which is all roaming according to sprints map and only about 8 miles in the middle of forest was roaming voice / data but I still had service. Sprint must have added some towers in this area over the past 90 days.

I was also thinking about sprints map showing roaming in many other areas I've traveled, they have sprint towers. Do you think this Green Swamp area is marked roaming because they didn't test in the forest because of locked gates ?

I was noticing many roaming areas are state forest lands or for example Ocala National Forest where I used to ride dirt bikes before I had sprint. A friend said he switched to sprint because they had the best coverage in the forest even though it shows roaming. Why would the map show roaming if they have sprint service there ?

I've never put a lot of thought into it before because my phone normally works every where but now I'm curious why sprint would show so many roaming areas that are not roaming ? Is it really that hard to update a map considering how much Vz is advertising using maps against the comp.

I know this is not directly EVO related but I thought it was important to note sprints maps are out dated unless they have a requirement of 2 signal bars min. before they can show as home area.

I know my other post mentioned sprint showing a lot of roaming areas on map because I was concerned about roaming charges on data plan, it looks like there may be less roaming then indicated.

Guess this confirms you really do have to test your area to know for sure.
 
I'm up too XP. I'm wondering if 2.2 will bring any further upgrades, though from what I've heard, 2.1 already makes the OS speedier than previous versions.

I'm not sure if I'd settle for the white or black version yet.
 
Well I'm out... I'm guessing nothing good was announced probably just about the new stock options and 30 day trial plan would be my guess.
 
I'm guessing it had to do with the 30 day trial plan, I mean that's pretty big news in itself, so it's plausible.

At any rate, it'll be hard to believe anything for sure today in account of the day =P.

Yeah, like I said being in the last Time Zone is sure lonely sometimes. I always get the lowdown last too. I'm still hoping some Sprint rep will throw us a bone!
