does anyone here with evo have dejaoffice installed to sync the phone with outlook?
DejaOffice - Business & productivity apps for your phone or tablet
I think these are Sprint official.
The White/Chrome one at least has surfaced on here before.

Any retail rumor pricing ?
I think the person was asking about a retail price for the cases and the mount that we saw pics of earlier today. If that is the case, then we do not know yet. None of the pricing info for that stuff has come out yet.

i haven't clicked on the video yet cause i am at work, but something tells me the "Born to be wild" soundtrack is in that video. lol

Well, I was limited to 198 songs and I wanted one that was close to the right length. It's Mary Chapin Carpenter - Down At The Twist And Shout.i haven't clicked on the video yet cause i am at work, but something tells me the "Born to be wild" soundtrack is in that video. lol

HAHAHA I can totally hear it now...![]()
This is my first attempt at using YouTube and it's also the first 720p video that I have made using the EVO 4G.
Yesterday, before I left to meet the other forum members in Tampa, I bunged my phone to my rear view mirror with a couple of rubber bands. I moved the phone to the left so the lens was not blocked by the mirror, but I didn't have it over quite far enough and that's what caused the shadow on the right side.
I like to experiment to see where my limits are, so I used a $100 program for my computer called Pinnacle Studio HD and that's what I used to edit the video. I was able to add the title at the beginning and when I was stopped at a traffic light, I deleted that part of the video. The transitions were used to hide my editing imperfections. The last thing I did was add background music and then I uploaded it to YouTube.
The first time I tried it, I used a song that I ripped from one of my CD's and YouTube said I didn't have the rights to use the song and they removed it from my video. So, that got me to thinking. The Goggle I/O phones included an extra micro SD card with 198 MP3 songs on it, so I tried one of those that was about the same length as the video and it worked!
I'll be taking more videos and experimenting more, trying to find the best settings.
Edit: Click the video to watch it on YouTube - it's larger.
I chose MPEG-4 and 1280 x 720. I'm all ears if someone has a better idea.Bill, what codex does the video use? Can you choose between different codexs?
Edit: After a bunch of googling it appears to support video recording in these formats. . . . MPEG4 / H.263 / H.264 / WMV but I'm not sure how accurate the info was.

Yeah, I just chose MPEG-4 and then selected HD 720p from Studio. That's interesting. Did Pinnacle Studio tell you what the source file format was? Like Mpeg4-H.264? I don't know why they would bother with H.263 and H.264. Of course the spec sheet I read could have been mixing what the EVO is capable of playing and what it uses to record. Most of the sites including Sprint's don't even tell the codex used for recording. But if it turns out to be MPEG4-H.264 that will be fine for editing purposes. I was just curious.
