The Desk Clock app is built into SenseUI.

From your home page, presuming you have a clock widget installed, just tap on it and it'll bring you to the Clock app. From there, you can invoke it.

Just a quick question, I googled around and couldn't find an answer, but does the android browser have password managing? so I can auto log into websites I frequent.

TIA

Hey Bek, just wanted to say that I (and I'm sure a lot of others) really appreciate how great you have been about answering everyone's questions and keeping us updated on your EVO experience! :D I was going to get the EVO no matter what, but after reading everything you have posted and the answers to all of the good questions everyone is asking, I just keep getting more and more excited! So THANK YOU!!!!

WebOs is pretty much what singlehandely has saved Palm(For now) and he was heading up the group that was involved in that.

And even if you dont like the PRE's hardware, you have to say the UI is ingenious, minus a few quirks.....it was the only reason I was relunctant about the EVO in the first place.

Now I wish this all happened a couple months ago, and that he could have had time to help develop a UI specifically for the EVO....but oh well.

I'm sure the EVO will be great, and just think, this time next year there will probably be a new phone that is just what you are looking for......an Android/Web OS cross. ;)

I know we are getting closer to D day. Has anybody heard from BSOD for any new tied bites (sp) he was talking about some changes if sprint charge for things, just wanted to get is take on things now that stuff has come out.

As for an app that allows you to adjust your phone settings to various "surroundings" the best one I've heard about is called Locale (I believe). It costs like $9.99, and from my research is one of the higher end cost applications.

On another note, in regards to the WebOS designer leaving Palm for Google....I am wondering how HP is feeling about it since they just bought them! Well here's to hoping for amazing improvements this man can bring to the limelight.

chrissy, I doubt HP is too broken up over it. It's not uncommon at all during a merger for the buying company to force out some people and replace them with their own guys. Not saying that this guy was forced out, but HP will have no issue replacing him with their own.

After lunch I popped into my local Sprint store and chatted with one of their reps. We talked about the Quik app and he stated that Quik is charging 5$ to use that app. Shoud have asked him if that was 5$ a month or a one time charge. Also he mentioned that right now they do not know how many Evos they will recieve on the 4th. He did say that they will recieve shipments everyday except for Sunday. Hopefully everyone will have to go to work that day and I can get in and out in no time. I asked if it was possible to look at the phone and he said "lives have been threathened" if they allow that to happen. He did state that a styus does not work with the phone but he heard that an aftermarket version was coming out. Talk time was so-so, but I guess that depends on memory management. PEOPLE IN KNOXVILLE, STAY HOME OR GO TO WORK ON THE 4th.

I knew something like this was going to happen... Kiss Your Unlimited Data Goodbye: Verizon Wants Tiered Plans with 4G | Android Phone Fans I'm just glad Sprint didn't do this to us.... but it's still early in the game

VZW CEO's been saying this since '09 so it's going to happen. It will happen with ATT who's also said almost the exact same thing. I believe they will all end up with something like it with Sprint, again, winning space as the value option.

If there's normal growth or stagnation in the economy though, tiered plans are going to work against the higher-priced carriers. This is where I think Sprint staying the course will make the most sense.

There have been a lot of people complaining about the $10 Evo charge/tax/whatever, but that's going to seem like a steal by the time the other carrier's plans start hitting reality.
