If they changed the screen to the incredible screen I'd consider that over the Evo if I find the evo too large BUT if they use the same screen the other nexus had I would rather not even bother with the N1. The phone has too many issues and they need to upgrade some things on it before any other carrier has it IMO.

When I read about the N1 I was in New Orleans on vacation and I got really psyched. I was debating switching to T-Mobile to get this phone and ditch my Pre but there were no family plans available with subsidy and I didn't have $1100+ to buy two outright. I ended up figuring I would wait for it or something like it to show up on Sprint. Luckily for me, the much rumored but never confirmed Android Wimax phone started popping up in online buzz and inventory lists. I had been hearing rumors of Sprint's first Android phone with Wimax coming in 2010 but I didn't know just how soon it was coming. Glad I'll be ready for an upgrade on June 6th, one year after Pre-day.

And just like that...April is pretty much done. We're coming into May with a little over 2 weeks for the media event then after that, it's just one more month away. Hang in there folks! Welcome new people and long time lurkers, future former-iPhone users, future former-PalmPre users etc. I think there might be a ton of new media (video reviews, unboxing?, new specs revealed) in about 2 weeks.
Nokia seems to be trying to one up the EVO already in terms of hardware:

I watched this whole video and the demonstration was good, but I couldn't help but notice how small the screen is in comparison to the EVO 4G screen. When I used the Phone Arena Size Compare Visualization tool awhile back, I noticed the Incredible screen width was about the same as my Hero. The guy doing the demonstration was having problems hitting the right places, like I do on my Hero. You have to keep in mind that with HTC Sense UI, all 7 home screens only work in portrait mode and do not rotate to landscape. I have a lot of trouble typing on my Hero for that reason and I can see the same problem with the Incredible. The screen on the Incredible is longer, which might make it better than my Hero for viewing web pages, but otherwise, it's terrible.
The screen on the EVO is a lot wider (see the size comparison tool I mentioned above) and you'll see typing in portrait mode on the home screens will be a lot easier. The Incredible is a nice phone, but I wouldn't want it.

I would get it, if the EVO didn't exist. It looks like a really nice phone, but the EVO just kills it

Don't know if its possible but Disney owns the building on Broadway and 46th(47th?) that used to be the Virgin Mega Store and has a Movie Theatre attached it is not scheduled to open until the fall but it is a huge facility I think Disney is making into a mini Disney World. I don't know what stage the construction is at but it would be a large enough area with a theatre.

Bill, or anyone with info, what day did you get your Hero again? Also, if you can recall, what day was the Best Buy release date vs. the Sprint release date? I'm trying to determine if there is a stereotypical day that Best Buy usually releases phones.
The overall consensus and trend is that Sprint generally releases phones Sundays, so I wondered if we could synthesize a day of the week that Best Buy usually releases phones. For example, they usually always release new media on Tuesdays (games, music, movies etc.)
