OK than, eieio, things are going so well with the roll out for 4g why have we not heard, seen, smelled, tasted any 4g any where. Some people with the 4g hot spot still say they do not have coverage in all places, if it is ahead of schedule the happy consumer should have notice and so far nothing.
 
eieio is right on with what i have been saying. He can't be lying because our stories match up.

Memory will be increased with a few other "surprises". You'll like it believe me =]

Processor, memory and software..( I think the software will come as an update) I think it will be updated regularly for about 6 months..

Not just corporations but specific industries, Medical, construction, Government and Major Corporations..

They wont be sold early but previewed early.

On 3g its the Incredible. On 4g its The EVO.. If the incredible excites you then this is a great phone. When you get 4g its a superior phone..
 
I can answer one of your questions if eieio doesn't remember the particulars. I believe it was last Saturday when he said Tampa should have WiMAX within the next 30-45 days. One of my contacts PM'd me and said he thought MacDill Air Force Base would have a big pull as far as Tampa getting WiMAX. Makes sense to me.
 
well imagine the outcry if Sprint yells "World's First 4G Phone! Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread!" and the 4G network is not ready or incomplete. imagine the PR/Marketing nightmare. the EVO is the 4G Network showpiece. the network must be ready.

The towers go up and they are live. Then it takes awhile to perfect the coverage. they learned from their mistakes. So when a city goes live they need it to be right not half ass coverage..

Since you in the DC VA MD area that area will be one of the best covered area in 30-45 days including on the metro.

4G on the metro? Serious? Christ when I'm in DC I never have any coverage of any kind on the metro....nice.

Yeah, MacDill makes a lot of sense.. Any idea how far the signal will reach? I'm actually in St. Pete but I work in Tampa so I wonder will I only get to use it when I'm up here. Either way 30-45 days is a lot sooner than the answer I expected. Thanks guys.

Could you ping a NYC 4G tower now and see if that download issue is fixed? ;)

umm no lte is the future wimax is only a stopgate casue it was easier to implement it at the time and get out thier before lte. LTE is the future and always has been so says wimax chief and Dan hesse at CTIA keynotes. If you say WiMAX is the future how come sprint is already talking about moving to LTE in a few years?

to bad evo didnt get the processor the samsung galaxy S has a mmmm 36% the power of a ps3 would be nice
