cant do the family plan, i'm stuck with $80 for a single line (assuming extra 10 is true) sooo yeah still paying half my att. seriously people just accept its not a better deal for some of us?

Depending on how you interpret it, they could mean both individual plans starting a $69.99 and business plans starting at $59.99 require the add-on or it could mean that you can use a individual plan starting at $69.99 or you can use a business plan at $59.99 plus $10.

This really is confusing wording so we will have to wait and see.

If I am way off and the add-on is just for the cheaper plan then I will eat my words and buy each and every one of you a (virtual) beer for being a jackass. :D
 
i stand corrected. i just got my email and it looks like the $10 is required. it looks like they are not calling it a 4G add on but a EVO add on charge. maybe because they EVO will suck up more data?

I think so..I have not herd of any deviation what so ever from current pricing plans. The only thing I herd that Sprint is going to charge extra is the Hotspot option on EVO.
I mean it can connect up to 8 different devices and I have tested the bandwith..all device average 6mbs down.

okies, excitment is fading..we got our date, we got our price. I'll be in line for an EVO most definitely.

Well if its true that the 10 extra is optional for normal plans, the only thing to complain about is that crazy 30 hotspot fee lol

It is soo ambous that I do not know. I keep reading it over and over and can not make up my mind. The evo sprint site says it is required. They say or?

I give up. Hell, I almost give up on the phone. It is really not worth it.

Thinking about waiting for aava got come out.
 
"The EVO 4G will still get the same $69.99 per month for unlimited data treatment, and mobile hotspot functionality powering up to 8 devices can be added for an additional $29.99 per month. Simultaneous voice and data is present, with the caveat that it only works when on a 4G or Wi-Fi network. Sprint did mention there would be a &#8220;$10 Premium Data add-on&#8221; to take advantage of a richer data experience, but we&#8217;ve yet to confirm if the add-on is to enable 4G (if you&#8217;re in a 4G-ready market) or something entirely different.​

[Update]: We&#8217;ve done some digging and it sounds like the $10 premium is nothing new: it&#8217;s for customers that want more options with Sprint&#8217;s Mobile TV service, alongside other EVO-independent options. do people have bad grammar or what?
they list 69.99 or 59.99 then "," inserted a comma and said 10 bucks for the Evo 4G data. that means it applies to both 69.99 or 59.99 before the comma.

Agreed. I read it once and I understand it one way and then when I read it a second time I get a different interpretation :( why would they put a comma after the business plan, why not just say "or the business plan with a required $XX add-on" grr. Instead a comma and a "plus"

Yup, just another example of why good grammar IS important. All this confusion could have been avoided if the Sprint employee simply knew proper comma placement.
