We checked mine, appeared ok until I got home in natural lighting. Noticed it in low light situation. Called them & they said they woulod replace it but asked if I could wait till the next shipment comes in....fine with me. So anyway check your phone. Also on a good note. All you Pre users...you can use your car charger & indoor regular charger with the EVO. Also I love my EVO....I think this is the best phone I have ever had.:)

Yep i have a little bit as well under the Home button, and a little less under the menu button. Also, does the youtube app keep freezing for others? i haven't messed with it much, but the 3-4 times i tried using it it froze in some ways.
 
This comes from the EVO... Finally and only after 2 hours of waiting to get activated... how long did it take the rest of you guys?

I haven't noticed any leakage, but even if there is some that is not bad, it won't bother me, because I had it on my Pre. How do you feel using this compared to the Pre? So far I am totally in love, but I am also thoroughly confused on some things. This is going to take some getting used to!

Another Pre user here. This is the best phone I have ever used and yes, it will take some time to get use to the missing physical keyboard. But all in all, it is a great phone.

Are we still speculating? lol

1.5 hours .. they had to manually activate it through sprint.. took them an hour to get someone on the phone... got that done.. it wouldn't sync with the network... that took about another hour..

Think we blew sprint up... now tho...

I love it a lot!. Everything is smoother & much faster. Took some pics & a few movies. The Pre was not bad but this is really good. I'm lovin' it. Oh & the leakage I have is not bad either, I may just keep this phone if I have no other problems. in fact I probably would never have noticed it if I hadn't read about in those reviews.

Very little light leakage on mine. But not enough for me to ask for another one.
 
Just got home with mine. It's gorgeous! Took about 45 minutes (and a phone call to Sprint tech-service) to get it activated @ RadioShack, not too bad considering. Now I'm just [not so patiently] waiting for that charge light to go green :D
 
Question... how is everyone else getting music and movie's on there EVO... I was trying to use double twist, but it's taking way too long to sync... any other suggestions?

Oh and congrats to all of use speculators and antisapators... we finally got it!

Actually, I kinda prepared for it prior to getting the EVO. I have a SD card reader in my laptop, so I took my microSD card (16gb) out of my Touch Pro, attached it to the SD adaptor, stuck it in my laptop, and just transferred whatever albums I wanted over to my phone. That was the easiest way for me to do it and all my music shows up no problem on the EVO (although, I did just find out that ringtones/pics can't be seen on the EVO while it's connected to a CPU w/ a USB chord).
 
Got mine at about 930. Took maybe 30 minutes. Phone is crazy. Better than expected. The iPhone has NOTHING on this phone. BB employees were hating of course. A manager was like "I don't like it its too big." I'm thinking yeah thats how u sell phones. Customers heard her whining. Couple guys came in while I was getting activated and got denied. Said all phones in store were for preorders only. I'm in love with this phone.

Wow what a day!! My appointment was at 4pm. I went there 30 mins late coming from work in a heap of traffic. It didnt matter. The comps were crashing bigtime. They were so backed up. It took an 1.5 to finally get my phone activated. There was a long line too. I never seen anything like it. As long as the wait was...I never had a better experience. The people at BB were so cool. We all knew the EVO would draw a big crowd but I never expected it to be this big. I'm just happy to have this monster of a phone in my hands.
 
It also took me forever to activate and get it working. Got into BB at 7:30 but couldn't get the phones on the account for 35 minutes, The rep would switch the lines, I thought I could do it online but the site was having problem, 20 minutes on hold to get a Sprint rep them 20+ more minutes of trying to get it provisioned which teh dern thing refused even after manual programing. Then at 11:07 it just started working.
 
I am just sitting here waiting for my Evo. :( EVP finally processed my pre-order from 2 weeks ago today at 1pm. It only took me 4 phone calls, they kept entering a wrong digit for my credit card but they never told me until I called them 4 times today! Now every-time I check the status it says order processing. I have a bad feeling I am not going to see it until Tuesday! i don't know what the purpose of the overnight shipping was I bought also the pre-order was useless since they just processed it today! EVP IS A FREAKING JOKE! :confused:
 
I got mine in 25 minutes. My appointment was at 7am. Most of the time was spent going over accessories, because the network was running well. This probably changed when the Sprint stores opened.

I decided to go back to best buy and buy accessories. Not only were all of the cases gone, but the computers were crashing, and i couldn't even get a raincheck. My fault for needing to shop around.

I love the phone without 4g. I am looking forward to froyo unleashing the speed of this device
 
just a little something I want to say that I thought was pretty freakin cool. I was on the facebook site via the internet, looking for contact pics for my contacts. So I found one, but it had one of his friends in the picture as well. So when I saved, then opened the picture and set as contact pic, there was a box around his face, and another box around his friends face, chose his face and it then zoomed into his face. Kinda like facial recognition, pretty sweet.
 
Got to BB at 11am for 11:30 appointment. New it was a bad sign when the people from 10 and 10:30 were still waiting for activation. The system was down for hours! The people at BB were really cool and got everyone drinks and even threw in the zagg screen protector for free. And installed it for me right there (Thank god i didnt have to do that). Anyway by the time I got activated and was ready to go it was 3pm! Sucked wasting all that time on my day off but it was worth it for this sexy piece of tech (No leakage for me btw). Also the BB I was at didnt receive their shipment of cases so I had to leave there and go to the Sprint store. Checked out the Body Glove and the silicone case and I went with the silicone because it felt like it would do better if dropped and still kept the camera from resting on a surface. Im trying to let it get a full charge as we speak but its so hard to put down a new toy. Congrats to everyone!
 
When I canceled Lisa answered and took my info. Brian was mine and my friends rep. He called Brian right after I called and spoke to Lisa and Brian goes oh it's being shipped today you know. My store had donuts and juice set up for people. And the girl activating ours had trouble with the system for a minute something worked on his phone but not on mine and then she tried mine again and it worked. Hope you get your phone soon! It's really awesome!
