Motorola added the Triumph to their Update page and it looks like the Triumph will never get any update :(

Oh well! Doesn't bother me since I'm running a custom ROM. But it's a shame that Virgin Mobile and Motorola do not want to assist us with HDMI... Those carriers and manufacturers should burn for what they've done! A top-of-the-line prepaid phone with no updates. Gonna have to keep on supporting these custom ROMs, or my phone would be a crashing, slow, bloated piece of junk! Thank you to all the devs, you've saved me from trashing this phone.

soon to trade Triumph for Evo V

not bad huh :D i wish i could tinker with the Venture though it looks like an interesting phone to say the least:)

Do you know if it is possible to trade in like that if you do not have the Geek Squad protection? The Evo V is looking very appealing....but I could probably only get it if I could trade in somehow.

Not that i know of but if you bought your Triumph from Bestbuy they do have a buy back program although you won't get the full amount you pay back if you payed $300 and your Triumph looks like its still New you'll probably get $200 ................... maybe :p

Venture huh i almost got one for my wife when her optimus kicked the bucket. But when i checked for dev work there was nothing quick to find. So we didnt buy one. Maybe a mistake the wfs kinda sux but sence is nice. getting it rooted is a mother. Can you come to kck and fix it for me? Ha.

The Venture? if there was at least a nandroid backup (which would require a working CWM recovery) i could probably make a Rom maybe :rolleyes:

Hmm, alright. Thanks. I wonder if I could use my VM insurance to swap phones, like make a claim but ask for the Evo, since they look like they're gonna be in the same price range...but that's a long shot.
