Nor the higher res screen and iPhone is not multi-tasking. Really not apples to apples comparing to iPhone and it's uni-tasking. ;)

I would expect the iPhone to get better battery: Lower screen res, smaller screen, not multi-tasking and slower clocked chipset. How would the iPhone NOT be better??

Hey this is America 2010 - the phrase "only $50" is a thing of the past my friend. ;)
 
My 1750 comes tomorrow. I'll update everyone on increased performance. If it doesn't get me more usage then the 1500 OEM - I will be returning it based off principle and get an OEM battery for 20 bucks.

all fair points. I just don't understand how the OP claimed that this battery killed his Iphone 3Gs battery

I mean, you should expect a 16% extended battery life, give or take a few % points. no more or no less.

I don't think there is any mystery behind it

I am a former Iphone 3g user and that battery completely crushed the DINC stock. the Seido helps a bit, but the 3G battery was nearly twice as good as DINC stock

Yeah, "twice the life" is way over inflated. If it was twice the battery life then I would be getting 2 days worth of use without a charge. With the 1750 I can actually get 1 FULL days worth of use out of the phone which is what I expect and all that I need.
 
Quick question to u 1750mah bat owners. My batt is about to arrive and i was windering if this batt has thesame issue of the stock whereyou need to turn off the phone, unplug and replug the power to get the final 10%charge? Thanks!

Yes it has the same issue. I know atleast one person that had to do the same steps with his seido
 
Just ordered using the Ebay excuse. Thanks to the OP and everyone else for the heads up and suggestions on this!

If you think of it positively, it is better to restart your phone like you would a PC to keep it optimized and clutter free - so at least you are doing that.
 
I'm trying out the AF. Since we get two, if anyone is interested in swaping their extra crystal for my spare AF, PM me. I figure that way, we get to try both for a much lower price.
